French windows - renovation and monoblock
Minimum work, maximum pleasure
Types of French windows:
This window has a special frame with characteristic "fin" on the inside used for the rapid exchange of old windows for a new replacement. This type of installation allows for the exchange of wings, mullions and hardware without the need for replacing of the window lining. Installing renovation frames allow for the covering up of any old window lining. The inside "fin" and brick work finish flush making an elegant join. From the outside it is covered with an angled bar which is available in a variety of sizes. Avoiding damage to a building facade is a huge advantage of this assembly, this is especially important when we change windows in historical buildings, as the whole installation can be carried out without any morter /brick work or excessive soiling of the building itself. We can offer a 5-chamber frame Ideal 4000 with 40 and 65mm "fin" or 5-chamber frame with centre seal Ideal 5000 with 35 and 65mm"fin". 5-chamber wings are available in three types:
Renovation windows are mainly sold to France andthe French part of Switzerland.
Monoblock window type
Monoblock windows are intended for houses with internal insulation. The frame is mounted in this space creating a characteristic window sill and will cover the internal insulation finishing up flush with the Gypsum wall cladding. A wide selection of frames allows easy picking of the correct size dictated by the thickness of the internal insulation.
All windows sold to France are fitted with Glasssolution CEKAL certificated glazing from the Saint-Gobain Company.
